In addition to crop developers engaging in several violations of the EPA, governments themselves are violating EPA 1989 Rules when it comes to GM crop regulation. Given below are some official admissions from state governments where they confess that no State Biotechnology Coordination Committees (SBCCs) have been formed. They also report that they have no information on field trials in the state when they are supposed to have a role in supervision and monitoring of experimentation, trials and any subsequent permissions.
